One of the biggest complaints heard from 2017-2021 WRX owners has to do with cracks forming in their OEM plastic turbo inlets from removal, installation or just general wear and tear. As the plastic inlet ages and becomes brittle, it has a tendency to separate around the BPV and/or turbo flange portion of the piece. Since the inlet is one of the most critical components for metered air and consistent performance, cracks or separation can lead to dangerous conditions for the engine. Highly recommend

Upgrade that plastic turbo inlet bound to break to this aluminum inlet. Paired with a BPV I instantly could hear the turbo spooling louder.

Great part with a flaw.

I love it for the most part. Only problem is the stock boost controller location conflicts with the charge pipe. Had to leave the controller loose to put it all together. I don’t like that.
