Grimmspeed Tallboy Shift Knob M12x1.25 Black Delrin | 380006

Had a weighted Billetworkz knob that gets too cold to touch in upstate NY winter. Thought id try this. It still gets cold but not near as bad and warms up quickly. Like the added height. Don't know the actual weight difference but it's significantly lighter than the stock knob when both are held in hand. Really let's u "feel" each shift as it slides thru the snychros whereas a weighted knob will mask sloppy rev matching. May end up keeping it on year round. BTW this is in a 23 VB so don't buy that bullshit the other reviewer said about "not well suited for the VB". That's ur ham fisted shifting, not the shift knob lol

Struggled finding any tall shifters for my Mustang to really get a good feel and performance and enjoyable time when shifting especially when shifting faster and aggressively, saw this for great price and it was worth every single penny bang for buck is incredible!!!!!

It’s a great option if you like having a taller setup. I prefer the height and leverage gained from taller shift knobs. It makes shifting a breeze especially in stop and go traffic.

Pros:

-Nice wrinkle finish, no issues with threads

-Well made, comes inside the soft suede bag for shipping and storage

Cons:

- Not well suited for VB seems as though the extra leverage is a bit much for the linkage to handle, to the point where I was concerned it may damage the shifter over time.

Conclusion:

-Well-made product overall just not well suited for the VB WRX.
