GrimmSpeed Titanium Rear Brake Shim Set Subaru STI 2018-2021 | 1248.1.TI

Fitment Information:

• 2018-2021 Subaru STI - Rear, 2-Piston Brembo Brakes

Features:

Repeated hard braking builds heat in the pads, calipers and fluid, which raises the risk of brake fade. These precision-cut titanium shims sit between the brake pads and the caliper pistons as a thermal barrier, helping keep caliper and fluid temperatures under control and braking consistent during demanding driving.

• High-strength 6AL-4V (Grade 5) titanium construction
• 1.0mm thickness provides an effective thermal barrier between brake pads and caliper pistons
• Significantly lower thermal conductivity than traditional steel shims
• Helps reduce heat transfer into brake calipers and brake fluid
• Designed to help minimize brake fade during aggressive driving
• Precision-cut for compatibility with factory 2-piston Brembo rear brake calipers
• Includes four titanium brake shims per kit
