HKS Adjustable Cam Gears allow for fine tune adjustments to cam timing to maximize engine performance and tailor power characteristics for various driving conditions. HKS cam gears are constructed of anodized precision-machined aluminum plates and incorporate laser-etched indexes in 2 intervals. The full aluminum versions of the HKS Cam Gears are constructed completely of aluminum (except for the bolts), thereby reducing overall weight and resulting in decreased friction loss and greater precision timing. Precise valve timing can be adjusted and set within the range of 20 in 2 intervals by referring to the laser-etched degree indexes and the advance and retard directional etchings on the cam gear face.
