Amazing catback exhaust, finally a nice shop installed it for me and it really surpassed my expectations. Sound is very bassy/premium, louder than I expected but after cold starts it gets quite manageable. Very impressed with Invidia (it also looks beautiful)

I have noticed many people turn to see my WRX or even appreciate the exhausts when I am doing my daily driving and this is me not revving it like a teen haha. Pretty pleased with the tone, has some drone but when you’re up to speed it’s easy to stay outside that particular range. The 4 small mufflers definitely help when it comes to giving it a unique sound/tone.

Love the low end tone of this exhaust over stock, even if my no-fun neighbors don't. Seriously not that loud though until you do some high RPM pulls. Install was easy with the supplied hardware. And the pieces themselves are put together, welded nicely. Highly recommend the R400 exhaust if you're undecided between this one and another. Quad tips forever man....

Great deal for the discounted price - looks great and sounds mild, maybe 30% over stock. Had to bend a hanger a bit to make the fitment even on both sides.

invidia r400 catback verdict: perfect daily driver oem upgrade exhaust. ive already noticed better gas mileage and more consistent turbo spooling. it is louder but not annoying. irl it sounds like an STI below 2500rpm and i love it. it drones at 4k and 2k rpm which is good because those arent typical cruising rpms. it is as quiet as stock on the highway going 85 and sounds lovely when getting on the gas. 100% worth

This was exactly what I was looking for in an exhaust. Better tone and the perfect loudness as it’s not too much yet it opens up as you get higher in the RPM’s. Would definitely recommend. Not to mention build quality is amazing. Bonus for being a really install as well. Took about 30 minutes.

Not an overbearing tone makes the car sound really good. Once in a while you actually hear the rumble trying to come through which is pleasing.

I was hesitant to install this without help from a friend, but got too impatient to wait. Easy install and with this catback coming in several pieces made it a breeze. Had it done with hand tools in just a few hours. Would highly recommend this setup for any WRX out there. Loud enough to make me smile in any gear but quiet enough not to drive my neighbors crazy at 0400.

If you’re looking for something loud when you get on it but easy on the ears during normal cruising then this is it! Not too much drone. Super loud and obnoxious on cold start but calms itself after warm up. Even more chill during freeway cruising thanks to the resonator add on. Overall great exhaust. Quality was good. My only complaint is how low it sits when installed and the tips were not completely round as if they came dented. You will need to adjust for optimal appearance. These exhaust Systems are a little over priced but not too bad. If you’re on a budget (300-600) I would suggest just getting something custom fabbed up. If you’re trynna ball out and flex on everyone with some name brand stuff then this is the system for you.

If you are looking for a medium loudness exhaust that is super deep for your VB... just buy this. As a bonus it drones very little when you cruise above 2k rpm.
