Insane how short this is now

The oem bushings are soft and very forgiving. The Kartboy bushings are solid and well made. Everything fit perfectly. I think the most difficult part of the install is banging out the pin for the lockout cable. The rear bushing took some effort but grease is your friend. I did not remove my o2 sensor, I unplugged it and pulled the heat shield over the sensor. The shifter itself has minimal play but is not overly rigid or notchy. No rattling at all, use the zip ties…This is a great upgrade especially at the price point. And as usual IRR is always on point with order/delivery.

My favorite mod to date. Every gear practically clicks into place. So much fun! A little work to install, but nothing some simple tools can’t accomplish. Highly recommend.

Added this to the Sti transmission I swapped into my vb wrx. Very tight clean shifts.

What I really i like about IIR that if the product is in stock its in stock!! not like other companies who tell you the item is stock whereas its not.

Regarding the Kartboy short shifter this is my second set for another subaru, simply the best short shifter for subaru.

I had my eyes set on the kartboy short shifter for a minute and boy oh boy is it good. The install was simple and took me like 30 minutes. The shifts are Chrispy AF.... hands down the best short thrower shifter I ever left on a WRX or STI.

Installed on my 21 Sti and immediately noticed a massive difference. The shifts are really crisp and direct, everything is really tight. Took all the play out and gave it a really premium feel. You can feel every shift click into gear. Product quality was great and shipping was fast. The bushings do add some nvh however, it’s not nearly as bad as some people make it out to be. The trans wine sounds like a supercharger I personally like it. The whine In low gears is similar volume to the cabin noise from my exhaust. If you drive with your music up you won’t even hear it.
