The KEIN Rear X Brace is designed to increase rear chassis stiffness in your 2002-2007 Impreza WRX and STI. It does this by double-bracing both sides of the center tunnel behind your rear seats, significantly increasing the rigidity of the structure. The stiffer rear end also sharpens up the transitional response and gives the car a more solid feel that is apparent even during normal driving. This brace does not require any drilling or cutting to install, and includes all necessary hardware. This kit also retains fitment of the rear seats.
Note: This brace can be installed together with KSUB012; these differ in the method of fastening and tying points.
Solid piece and seems like good quality. Welds looked good and fitment was good. It’s another iteration of the car labs brace
When installing it, get the turnbuckles started before bolting the center plate down. You will likely need longer bolts for the outer 2 mounting points that share hardware with the vertical seat supports.
