Notes: On this page, you are looking at the AEM 340LPH 65mm Fuel Pump Kit with the DeatschWerks Install kit. Why mix two brands? Well, they work great together and turn this into a plug n play solution for 15+ WRX/BRZ/FRS/86. AEM’s high flow in-tank fuel pump is designed for high performance naturally aspirated and forced induction vehicles. 1st Huge shout out to Miguel! He's been my go-to guy for my last couple of purchases. The AEM 340LPH 65mm Fuel Pump was a breeze to install on my 2019 WRX. I should have recorded it since there are not really any videos for the 2018+ WRXs on Youtube. Great product, does exactly what I was needing it for, that E85! 1st thing you want to do if you don't want a mess is to have little to no gas in your tank ( my fuel light was on). Then you want to pull your fuel pump fuse to get the gas out of your lines (the fuse box cover will show you which fuse to pull). Next, start your car and let it run until it dies (mine took about 5-10mins). Now unhook the positive battery terminal by using a 10mm socket, place and place the fuse back in for the pump. Next, you will want to remove your back seat by pulling the two disconnects right under the front of the seat. Now you will use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the four screws and pop the cover off. Detach the plug and move the cover back out of the way. If you did not pull the fuse and let it die there will be a lot more gas and pressure so be careful), once the green clip is up you can slide the lines off by pulling them back. Now you will need an 8mm socket to remove the bolts holding the pump assembly in. It's best to mark the pump assembly and the…
good pump, no issues or loudness, you could do without the install kit if you can properly splice the wires, but it is really easy as its all properly measured and pre-done.
