More and more vehicles are being sold with a ‘sound symposer’ system on their engines. This basically pumps engine noise into the cabin of the vehicle so the driver can experience the sound and rush of the engine accelerating under load. However, some customers choose not to have this sometimes obtrusive noise constantly being drawn into their car.

Some people have come up with quick and easy solutions to remove this system. Mishimoto has developed a system that fits a variety of vehicles. The system features an aluminum CNC plug with a Mishimoto logo to place in the intake hose as well a rubber cap to install onto the sound diaphragm. Installation is a snap and will take about 10 minutes to complete. Now you can enjoy a quieter ride!

  • Fits the 2015+ Subaru STI and the 2012+ Subaru BRZ
  • Eliminates engine noise in the vehicle cabin
  • Aluminum CNC plug for intake hose

  • Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty

Great For Stock With AOS

Many of you ask what the rubber cover is for. Well when you buy this to delete the sound tube, you were supposedly not suppose to delete the whole tube. Instead only the single pipe connecting from the intake to the sound generator. The other is to install on the "diaphragm". I after you take out the tube it should be an open male connector and that's why it's shaped the way it is. I have circled where it goes. It is not really worth the $14 unless you like showing off the M on the plug, but there are universal aluminum adapters that are exactly the same with no branding.
