These factory fit push to start button covers are an easy way to get some JDM styling inside your vehicle. They add a splash of color and you will use them each time you go for a ride.
Follow the installation video and you'll be good to go! Main photo is the product you will be receiving. Other photos are the "STI" version and just for reference.
NOTE: Has a status button hole. This is preferred for the 15-23 WRX, 15-21 STI, 13-18 Crosstrek, and 14-18 Forester. Installation video is for the 22+ BRZ / GR86. You will need to transfer the plastic light tunnel from the OEM cover and place it in your new cover. It can easily be removed with your fingers.
Was a bear to get the old switch button off but the tool ultimately worked. Looks grear in addition to the red shift knob.
Nice replacement for the push button that adds a good contrast look. Would be cool to have other color options, but red is dope. Not the easiest install, and you need to be careful around the chrome trim. 4.5 overall
The video of how to install was for a different car and followed different steps to install. The little blue plastic tool broke when I looked at it wrong but fortunately it wasn’t needed. The other tool is garbage as soon as you’re done using it but it works. Just use that to basically release and pry the old button out without removing anything and that does the trick. 4 stars for the not so simple install it was made out to be but otherwise a solid new red button that is fun to have if nothing else.
It’s all in the small details! This took me about 30 seconds to install with the provided tools. Adds a nice touch to the interior of my WRX.
The install is not hard but a little patience goes a long way. The part is simple but adds a real nice accent to the inside of the car.
Simple install and makes the start button stand out from the Trip/Reset in the 22+ (see the photo for the spacing lol)
Great addition to my red themed wrx in ceramic white.
Works great, and looks OEM. And thankfully it does not say "sti" on it.
Took a little bit of finesse to pry out the OEM but once out, the rest is a breeze. Looks fantastic and gives the dash a much racier look.
