Subaru has been lighting up license plates with the same old worn out housings since 08. That's a long time! A lot has changed. LEDs are the gold standard for many luxury cars and they have even trickled down to many mid level vehicles.
Treat your vehicle with some newer LED lighting. This pair of lamps completely replaces your stock housing which contains a small halogen bulb. Inside the housing is a printed circuit board with multiple LEDs ready to emit a pure white light.

Get rid of those stock halogen
100% worth the money. Makes the rear end look so much nicer and up to date. Superrrr bright as well at night which is good.

The dull stock license plate lights were fine but the white light of LEDs elevates the look of the rear
