Subaru offers front lip protectors in Japan and Noble has decided to bring that styling and protection stateside. These mount to the bottom, outer portion of STI and STI style front lips.
They add a splash of color, but and they also protect your front lip against light impacts. They can help you lip from slowly getting chewed up.
NOTE: Not compatible with Noble ABS front lips or any STI style lip that does not have a flat bottom ledge. Please check your front lip to make sure it has a flat mounting surface on the bottom. This would work on the Noble Carbon STI Style lip.
Installation
These come with pre-mounted 3M, promotor, and self tapping screws. Clean the lower portion of your STI or STI style front lip. Make sure it is clean then then test fit the product so you can understand where you want to mount it.
Use the adhesive promotor on the bottom of your front lip. Mount the product using the 3M. Two self tapping screws will go slightly inside the outer edges, and one will go in the middle. Now drill pilot holes for the self tapping screws. You must do this so you do not damage your front lip. Pilot holes will remove some of the lip so that that screw doesn't force the material outwards resulting in cracking.
Then expand the whole slightly with another bit that is slightly smaller than the self tapping screw. Now screw in the self tapping screws. They need to be hand tightened. Firm, but do not strip the material holding it in.
