Installation
Prep the application area and make sure it is free from dust, debris, wax, and has not just freshly ceramic coated (unless you intend to use the mechanical fasteners). This spoiler can be installed with a combination of 3M adhesive and/or the mechanical fasteners.
The 3M requires installation temperatures of 70-80 degrees. It has a solid bond after 24 hours and will achieve full bond after 72 hours.
Use another person to test fit the spoiler prior to starting the actual install. Note the proper position. Apply 3M to the spoiler and remove the ends of the 3M backing tape. Expose enough so that you can pull it out from under the wing once you put it back on.
Apply the promoter prior to final install. Reposition the spoiler in the correct position and remove all of the 3M backing tape. Press down firmly.
NOTE: Use of screws is only meant to be in ADDITION to 3M. If using screws, be sure to only tighten them by hand as you are drilling through the plastic spoiler. If you would like to add self-tapping screws, you can purchase #8 screws locally.
Easy install and paint match is pretty spot on. Looks like it came from the factory. My only issue was the 2 screws from my 2024, were smaller than the nursery's in the spoiler. Easy to deal with due to the massive amount of 3M tape that's included.
Duckbill definitely made the rear WRX pop compare to OEM lip. 95% paint matched. The OEM screws were slightly smaller than the duckbill holes. You will need to get a size up screws to fit.
The paint match is pretty darn close! Fitment is almost perfect. Doesn't quite line up both screw holes. Ended up screwing one hole and added double sided tape. Should hold up very well! Went with a stealth wrap which made it look even better!

Fit was great & the install was a breeze. Just make sure both surfaces are clean! I wish the bolts lined up with the holes in the trunk. Thats the reason for only 4 stars. But i love the way it looks
