Noble Essentials Rear Passenger USB Charger Ports Subaru WRX 2022-2026 Base Model Only

I had to replace mine and this was quick and easy.

A must if you have 22+ WRX. However I have a 21 WRX and wanted the convince of having USB ports at easier reach. Although not a direct PNP for years prior to 2022, I made it fit and work like OEM. Had to modify the 12v plugs but super happy with the end result. Seemed like a lot of work but thats why we do these little mods. Again, not an issue if you own a 2022+ WRX. Probably a 10 -15 min install in that case.

So yea, as we get older somethings tend to change. You replace your late night outings w/family gatherings and game nights, the panic-runs because you think your dog is sick are replaced with ‘Sir, you need to come here and pick up your son from skul right now!’ But, the cars you like to drive don’t have to change, that’s the secret! And to keep your spare-sperm nice, quiet and occupied in the back during long drives, just have them plug-in and … well, remain quiet and busy while you haul ass to get snacks for the field trip tomorrow morning at 934pm the night before. Silence is priceless. Install is super easy, and well worth it. Very nice!

Ok I saw you can install the ports while only removing the rear panel. It is possible, but it is not easy as you’re trying to plug these things in blind and with one hand. Did I do it? YES. But it took a while, kinda like plugging in a USB port that is on the back of the computer and it never seems to match until you get back there, look at the port, look at the plug then give it one last go. Good luck to the next person but it’s worth it once you get those plugs connected!

I installed on my 2017 Subaru Impreza. Connector works well so I just unplug the 12v and connect the USB charger. Made a nice rectangular like opening in the back panel of the center console for the USB charger and got a really professional look.

My kids complained of not charging their phone and switch on long roadtrips. This is a must have for vb base that doesn’t have usb adapters. Easy to install too.

Didn’t realize this came with the OEM usb ports. That being said this could easily come with the new updated USB C port. The harness that comes with this kit will probably plug into the new 2024 version of the part just fine (not tested). But now I have back seat ports on my base model yay

Install note: you really only have to take the rear face plate off to remove the dummy blank plate, and the left and right 10mm bolts under the circular plastic covers. Once all that is off and out you can reach under and unplug the cigarette lighted harness and tap into the noble harness that plugs into the back of the usb ports. Super easy this way with minimal tear down
