This easy to install modification helps your vehicle stick out just a bit more. Ours is more aggressive and covers a larger portion of the roof versus the OEM Subaru vortex generator.
It was a preferred design for the VA chassis and now it's available for all VB owners.
Installation
Prep the application area and make sure it is free from dust, debris, wax, etc.
The 3M requires installation temperatures of 70-80 degrees. It has a solid bond after 24 hours and will achieve full bond after 72 hours.
Use another person to test fit the vortex generator prior to starting the actual install. Note the proper position.
Apply adhesive primer to the vortex generator and the painted surface that will make contact with the adhesive on the Vortex generator.
Now apply 3M to the vortex generator (on top of the primer you just used) and remove the ends of the 3M backing tape. Expose enough so that you can pull it out from under the vortex generator once you put it back on.
Reposition the vortex generator in the correct position and remove all of the 3M backing tape. Press down firmly in all areas for 15 seconds.
Wait 30 minutes for initial bond to be made and then press down firmly again. Check for any spots that may not be making contact with both the roof and vortex generator.

Completes the look of the top rear and paired with their STI wing I think I can genuinely feel a difference especially on windy days! Easy install. Took less than a hour properly applying the adhesive promoter and heat gunning the adhesives. Alignment is a peace of cake with a handy helper!
Amazing product!! Looks great! It's is an easy install. But I highly suggest getting a friend to help.
So this is a pretty easy cost affordable exterior mod that took probably 20 minutes or less to prep and install. It did come with a little weird dent that honestly is gone once you put it on unless you look really hard. The downside is making sure with weather permitting that it gets a solid bond and obviously 72 hours is quite a long time. All in all though solid product, color match is perfect and gives it an aggressive look.
Installation was easy even for one person. Just take your time to test-fit before actual installation. Color is spot on.
Very easy to install, definitely need 2 people help to line up because it does fit perfectly but need another set of hand and eyes to it fits around the shark fin and down the sides of the roof.
Looks amazing and clean.
