Generating aero!!!
So when I received this item on a Friday afternoon it was only the item and no 3m tape. Shipping was fast I received the item within a few days of purchase. I reached out to IIR on getting a roll of tape but they had already gone home for the day on Friday so I shot them an email asking for the tape. Well I had gotten the itch over the weekend so I just decided to go out and buy the tape and install it over the weekend. I think it turned out ok. For some reason I couldn’t get the rear of it to line up with the back window due to the hole that was created for the shark fin antenna. So it sticks over the rear window about an 1/8 inch on the passenger side. I’m hoping by installing the rear window spoiler that’ll help fix that overhang. Honestly nobody would probably notice it but me but slight imperfections like that bug me. The other thing that bugged me was the front edges that appear to be curved in so they go into your roof lines. Mine didn’t do that and kind of stuck up and out. And the edges were a little rough. In reality they might end up with future chips from rocks and road debris. During drying the edges get caught in the drying towel. Besides those minor things the piece is a perfect paint match. Overall I think it looks good. I might snip the edges on the front edges to help from future snags. I believe this piece and noble STI duckbill compliment each other well. I’m still on the fence on if I want to purchase a color matching rear window spoiler or a matte black.…
