I bought an intercooler guard from a different brand and it was not a good experience. That brand used 3M adhesive to stick the brackets to the bottom of the intercooler and they accidentally sent me two passenger side brackets. This design is great with the clamping from the bolts.

Noticed the fins on my Intercooler starting to get mangled decided to look for options to protect them. Settled on this product and so far it’s performing well! I haven’t noticed and further damage and as a plus it looks great!

Looks better with than without, and I haven’t noticed any downsides/issues post install.

I only have 1000 miles on a new WRX, but I already had to fix a few fins on the intercooler. This guard (as everyone else says too) fits great, it’s easy to install, looks great and hopefully helps to protect those fins.
