Why the OEM Inlet Falls Short
The factory turbo inlet uses a venturi-style ejector that constantly leaks boost to maintain EVAP sensor readings. Under wide-open throttle, this leak forces the turbo to work harder, increasing charge temps, reducing intercooler efficiency, and limiting top-end performance. Subaru even runs coolant under the inlet to prevent freezing-raising inlet temperatures to nearly 200°F and heating the air before it reaches the turbo.

How OVERTAKE Solves It
OVERTAKE eliminates the OEM boost leak entirely by using the engine’s vacuum pump as a clean, regulated vacuum source positioned closer to the EVAP sensor. An included restrictor pill ensures perfect operation without affecting braking performance.
