The Details:

A stainless steel heat shield does a good job of physically separating the turbo from the intercooler, but stainless conducts and re-radiates heat. Over a long pull or a hot lap, the shield itself becomes a warm surface sitting next to your intake charge. The reflective foil addresses this by lining the inside face of the shield with a material that bounces radiant heat back at its source rather than absorbing it. Application is straightforward: the foil is pre-cut to match the OVERTAKE Turbo Heatshield profile, so there's no trimming or guesswork.
