The Perrin alternator pulley decrease rotational mass and which helps to improve your performance and engine response time. Subaru models with the OEM clutch style alternator pulleys may fail over time. This failure will result in knocking noises, battery charging issues, belt wear, and cause belts to become extra jumpy. Perrin created the alternator pulley to remove this future failure point.

Another great Perrin product

It's 7 degrees Fahrenheit right now so I haven't installed it yet. How do I know it gets a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating? It's a Perrin product sold for a great price on IIR. I've been happy with everything else I've bought with the Perrin name behind it! Oh I have a VA WRX 2018, they don't list this as fitting, however they used to and after speaking with Perrin directly, they said apparently Subaru used different alternators for the 15-18: and "some people reported having issues installing it". I have an extra junk alternator and after sizing it up I am confident that it will work with no issues.
