The Perrin master cylinder support brace provides the much needed support for the master cylinder and brake booster that the stock setup just can't provide. When you place force against the pedal the brake booster and master cylinder actually bend away from the you. The sheet metal that these parts are bolted to just can't prevent movement and over time can fatigue to the point of failure. Perrin designers devised a simple plan to fix this problem- an easy to install and inexpensive brace cut from 6061 aluminum that bolts to the driver side shock tower. With the Perrin brace you are placing tension on the master cylinder opposite the brake pedal, completely eliminating this pendulum like motion. The firmed up pedal feel without any risk of damage to the fire wall makes this brace such a popular upgrade.

Fast shipping as always! Don’t drop your screws into the engine bay or it’ll turn a 30 min job into a 90 min job. Removing the left diagonal brace helps with clearance issues.
Took me and 30min to install. The force of the brake pedal definitely feels a bit firmer under heavy breaking. I thinks it’s work it’s price.
If you plan on tracking your car, this mod is a must to complete the ultimate driver feeling (not bmw).
Great simple mod. Brake feel shouldn't be slept on.
Product looks great, did not notice much of a feel difference under normal braking but under hard braking the pedal is a bit more connected and feel
Look nice but I haven't noticed any changes.
Relatively straight forward install. I don't necessarily feel any difference with brake stiffness but could just be me.
