Developed through extensive testing and real-world validation, this system is designed to improve airflow efficiency, reduce intake temperatures, and support reliable power gains on higher-output setups.
Simply increasing intercooler size is not enough—Process West focuses on correct airflow management and thermal efficiency. This kit uses a carefully designed 3.5” (90mm) core thickness, allowing air to properly pass through the intercooler rather than being restricted, resulting in lower outlet temperatures and more consistent power delivery.
A key feature of this system is the matched Y-pipe design, engineered to evenly distribute charge air from the turbocharger across the full intercooler core. This reduces turbulence, improves throttle response, and ensures consistent cylinder-to-cylinder airflow.
Dyno and real-world testing has shown improvements in both horsepower and torque, along with reduced intake air temperatures under sustained load.
I had my old stock intercooler with rocks in it and the couplers are in bad shape. it takes some time to maneuver around the engine bay. but awesome quality
All you could ask for in a WRX upgrade. My stock intercooler saw a lot of highway miles before I bought it. Needless to say the fins on the intercooler were bent, crammed with rocks and over all ascetically very unpleasing.
After upgrading quite a bit with all black parts and hoses I really like how this rounds out the engine bay. The only complaint is a couple of the letters were peeling off the intercooler when it was unboxed. I peeled them all off effortlessly to avoid the headache. Not really a part snob so it doesn’t matter to me regardless.
