The Process West Top Mount Intercooler is engineered to be the highest-performing TMIC upgrade for the Subaru STI platform. Developed through extensive testing and real-world validation, it addresses the most common intercooler limitations: poor ducting, excessive core thickness, and uneven airflow distribution.

Optimized Cooling Design

A key focus of the system is proper airflow management. Without a correctly sized splitter, up to half of a large intercooler core can receive no direct airflow. The Process West design solves this with a purpose-built splitter system, ensuring 100% of the core is utilized for cooling efficiency.

The intercooler also uses a 90mm optimized core thickness, striking the ideal balance between airflow and thermal capacity. Unlike overly thick 114mm designs that restrict flow, this setup allows air to pass efficiently through the core for lower intake temperatures and more consistent power delivery.
