The Perrin Master Cylinder Brace for your WRX and STI eliminates the flex at the firewall, so you feel nothing but solid pedal feedback with every application of the brakes. Even slowing for a stop sign, the difference can immediately be felt after installation. Don't think your firewall flexes? Have a friend pump the brakes and watch the movement for yourself! Eliminate it effectively and quickly! The brace is CNC machined from 6061 billet aluminum for extreme stiffness. With stainless steel hardware and an anodized finish, the Perrin Master Cylinder Brace will look great and last the life of the car in even the harshest conditions.

The quality of this product is what you expect from Perrin. The master cylinder brace is a beefy piece that works as intended. While remaining aesthetically pleasing. The installation was simple. No need to remove the tire.

The Brace you want!
This is perhaps the beefiest cylinder brace you can buy.
It comes with good instructions and it is easy to do once you remove the driver's side wheel.
This makes a HUGE difference in pedal feel for the brakes, especially under hard braking.

Pretty nice part.
Pretty nice part. Seems to make a difference under heavy braking. Install was super easy with coil overs installed. You might have to remove a stock strut to do the back bolts.

Break brace
This is not fun to install, it's a very tight location
If the bolt holes in the shock tower are rusty you will need to tap them, from factory these are not blocked off so the threads may be no good
Definitely helped the breaks feel better

For how simple this is, it makes a big difference on the pedal feel. Much firmer. Little on the PITA to install on an STI due to the fuel pressure regulator being on the same location of the bracket.

great little add on todo when your already working on the firewall doing other stuff. helps the brake feel. great craftsman ship as well. cant forget how fast shipping and customer service is with IIR. Thanks Dane and Josh!
