With an outer layer made from silicone impregnated fiberglass, these turbo blankets are internally insulated with high temperature calcium magnesium silicate wool, overlaid with a high temperature mesh. The PTP Subaru Turbo Blankets are designed to fit all stock Subaru WRX/STI turbochargers. They also can fit many other after market turbochargers with internal wastegates.

Looks great.

Pretty easy to install, just gotta wiggle around the wire to pull the blanket around the turbo. Looks great 👍🏽

Been running the blanket for just over a week. Been superb thus far as it took care of a lot of the heat that would soak into my tmic. Also really cleaned up the look of my turbo. The only annoyance is needing to use safety wire to strap it together around the turbo but not major. For the price, I would recommend it to anyone.

Great buy

Looks much better than a plain turbo and gets rid of a lot of heat soak in the engine bay, especially with the STI tmic

Perfect fit!!!

This is a quality piece that looks great under the hood. When I still had my stock top mount I noticed the core was much cooler where as before it would heat soak incredibly fast. Performance gain is not noticeable but the cooler temps in the engine bay are well worth it! If you are even thinking about running an aftermarket shield definantly weigh this as an option. I was even able to fit it without removing the downpipe easily!
