I was pretty skeptical about how much this would keep temps down in the engine bay. Honestly happily surprised it does help, was noticing my Intake Air Temps were staying cooler for longer. In stop and go traffic heat still would rise, but not as fast as without the blanket. Install was pretty easy and so far has not come apart after half a year. Used an IR heat gun to test this baby out and it really does work. fits vf turbos pretty good also has the cut out for iwg plunger arm

Def an upgrade over the stock heat shieldin my opinion. Would recommend when installing downpipe just for ease of installation

I was having major heat soak issues before I installed this. It takes a lot longer for heat to build up in the engine bay after installing this.

PTP makes a quality product. I cannot notice any performance gains related to the turbo blanket, but you can generally tell whether a product is a piece of junk or if it is a quality piece that you would put on your car without hesitating. The PTP turbo blanket is one of those quality pieces that I would not hesitate to put on my car.
