RaceComp Engineering’s classic Yellow springs offer an excellent combination of function and form for your Subaru STI. With the release of the new 2015 twins, Subaru stepped up their game with an impressive chassis but left room for improvement. Following an in-depth evaluation of the VA suspension, RaceComp Engineering Yellow spring rates are an aggressive 365 lbs/in front and 360 lbs/in rear that match the new OEM valving on the 2015 STI. The Yellow spring set also retains more bump travel than competitior's springs by including new rear bumpstops and a drop of 20mm front and rear. The goal was to minimize the understeer these cars have from the factory and offer a spring that not only performs exceptionally at the limit, but also retains ride comfort to daily drive around town. The result is a car that handles extremely well from corner entry to corner exit.

Spring Rates: 365lbs Front / 360lbs Rear Drop: 20mm F/R

Drop

  • Drop Height Front: .75 in
  • Drop Height Rear: .75in

My hands are sore but my car looks good!

These look and ride great. Bumps are slightly more harsh than stock but it’s to be expected. In a series.white STI with the factory bilsteins. Note: there’s no front bump stop on the bilsteins. Definitely have your torque wrenches handy as well as the appropriate Allen’s. Did the install in my garage on Friday after work, took around 6 hours as a hobbyist diy-er. Hardest parts for the install were breaking free the top hats as well as re-aligning all of the bolt holes on install (use a Jack to raise/lower the control arm to help align the bolt holes). I also installed the 20MM Noble spacers at the same time. No rubbing issues, except for on the front mud flaps when locked out (adjusting the mounting brackets solved the rubbing).
