Just installed this recently the sound is great not too loud but really changes the car in a great way. Lower more raspy tone but the drone is minimal. Install was super easy and the fit is perfect. I highly recommend this setup if you’re looking for some more sound from stock without the drone and being obnoxiously loud. Also Shoutout to IIR for quick shipping and an easy buying process as usual.
This exhaust is loud on cold start
Otherwise it has a deep tone once the car is warmed up

If you are looking for something a tick louder than stock but without the drone and obnoxious noise this is the kit for you. I backed my WRX onto my race ramps and in about 20 minutes I was done. Fits perfect super easy install and beautiful quality parts.

Wanted something quiet with no drone, but let's the natural boxer rumble come forward. Well, this was the perfect purchase. Install was a breeze and sounds amazing.
If you want to upgrade to sound but not piss off your neighbors, this is the only way to go. You still get a nice purrr when idle and still sounds decent when accelerating and cruising. Previously I had a muffler delete and while it sounded awesome, it was loud in the cabin and cold start idle was annoying the neighbors. This changed it all while keeping performance and upgrading the boxer engine rumble. Definitely recommend this as one of the must have upgrades that doesn't require tuning.
Just installed to replace the non-muffler axleback exhaust and like it so much more. Took care of the droning issue.
