Seibon H-Style Carbon Fiber Hood Scoop Subaru WRX 2022-2026 | HDS22SBIMP-H

For the cost and given seibons supposed good reputation, wow... The front was warped even after tightening down, doesnt sit flush with the hood. I had to buy and use 18 rubber washers on the 8 bolts to make it actually touch the mounting points on the car as well as weather stripping for the edges so it doesn't scratch the hood, especially since the sharp grille is touching the car on the sides. There was also white chalk like material on almost all of the bottom half of the grill which took me a box of qtips with isopropyl to clean off and there's still white marks on the grill. Seems possibly poorly painted or just negligent construction.

This is my first carbon fiber part purchase but I’ve seen plenty of poor quality carbon fiber parts at cars and coffee events. This I’m happy to report is not one of them. The carbon weave is nicely laid out and the clear finish is overall very good and free of defects. There were a couple small surface scratches but polished right out. Fit was is spot on and had zero issues with installation.

Makes the front of the car way more aggressive and how it should have looked from the factory IMO.

Definitely not a cheap option compared to some of the competition but I’m happy I spent the extra money in the end, as the quality of this compared to other parts I’ve seen is worlds better.

Looks great and functions great. I had to have my best friend fix a stud on it. Another friend installed it. It was easy except the broken stud. It came damaged from the shipping. I had help from trained mechanics to fix it and get on. I wanted it on and I am glad I bought it. Cool new aggressive look.

The carbon fibre on this scoop is excellent quality, being from Seibon. The base is fibreglass, not plastic like other manufacturers. The fitment is perfect. Installation is easy with eight bolts/nuts on the underside of the hood. I had it clear coated at a local shop before installation to preserve the look of the carbon and protect it. The taller scoop makes the car look much more aggressive, and it can really be seen from the driver's seat, unlike the stock scoop.

Great fitment and gives the car a more aggressive look!
