TurboXS Front Mount Intercooler Wrinkle Red Subaru STI 2015-2021

Intercooler functions beautifully. Fitment on the 2020 STI is super tight. I’m fortunate in that I have multiple vehicles so my STI was in my garage on Jack stands for about a week while I did the install here and there. You will likely need to trim the drivers side fog light bezel area, it’s nothing that shows when the bezel itself is on, but trimming behind is gonna be a must. Otherwise it’s just a lot of trial and error fitting the piping, I trimmed out my front bumper because I wanted to be able to see it. I think it came out beautifully.

Nice intercooler and pipes are perfectly coated in red. Only issue I had was the fitment when trimming the front bumper for install.

Was doing a turbo upgrade along with a few other goodies. I originally decided to go with a bigger top mount but found this kit instead. Install was straight forward, there are only four pipes. the fitment wasn't too horrible, just make sure you bend the bottom portion of the front beam under the condenser area. Otherwise this intercooler works great. My intake temps while moving are only about 2 degrees above ambient and cool down quickly once I start to move after stopping at a light. I would highly recommend this.

It was an easy install an added 38 extra horsepower to the wheels.

You want colder intake temps, this dude has got you covered. I recently had my car pro tuned with this installed and the tuner attributed a decent portion of my gains to the intercooler. Spool up hasn’t really changed from stock top mount and it looks pretty bad ass peeking out of the bumper. I will say that fitment is less than stellar, there’s a lot of fudging around to get it to fit up just right and get the bumper cover to fit on. You will definitely have to trim out some points on the back side of the bumper cover and be prepared to loosen t clamps move stuff and re tighten multiple times before you get it to work. Also there are zero instructions other than a vague YouTube video with no audio and some google images to help guide you. I still need to tidy up mine a bit but over all I love it. I ordered this FMIC for my 2016 Subaru Sti, the installation does not come with instructions but it was pretty simple to install. I had to cut some of my driver side headlight harness but besides that, no cutting invovled. The driver side piping is a little tight. I choose this interooler because it retains the stock license plate relocator and it came with a crash bar. I would highly reccomend this front mount to anyone looking to replace there top mount.

I have a 2018 STI, and all I can say is that for the money this is a quality piece, with great fitment, and quality hardware. U also get a crash beam and best of all u get and added piece 2 keep your license plate tow mount which most or probably all other kits eliminate!! All u have 2 do is slightly trim the driver's bumper inner fog light assembly cause it touches the elbow, and shave the front lower grill. Just remember a front mount is better than a top mount any day of the week pics below!!
