Features:

This is a brand new, completely assembled 2.5 Liter EJ255 short-block directly from Subaru. This block uses the -24cc dish in the piston, which will yield a compression ratio closer to stock for hybrid swaps. Though the block was designed for the D25 heads, they can be used with the 2.0L S20 heads for a hybrid swap.

This block is the factory block for most of the 2.5L WRX, Legacy GT and Outback XT. If you are unsure this is the correct block for you, please contact us with a VIN to verify.

If you are putting this block in a car that it was not originally designed for, it carries no warranty expressed or implied.

Warranty Disclaimer: Subaru of America will only warranty parts installed on a car that has a matching VIN to that part.

Warranty Disclaimer: Subaru of America will only warranty parts installed by a CERTIFIED Subaru Dealership. The part being installed must also match the vehicle VIN. IE If you install an STi block in a WRX at your friends shop, do not expect a warranty claim to come through if it explodes! Please use your best judgement.

No issues.

I recently pulled my motor because of a tension-er fail. Spare the details I was at 120k and decided to replace block while it was down. I have not had any issues. Oil pressure levels were normal with 08sti 11mm oil pump. Its holding 22.7 psi without any issues or oil leaks.
