2024-2025 Subaru WRX TR
In disc brake systems, a shield is mounted to the vehicle's wheel hub to contain brake dust produced by the brake pads. Additionally, this shield functions as a splash guard, protecting the disc brake rotors from water and other contaminants, helping maintain optimal braking performance and extending the lifespan of the components.
Warranty Disclaimer: Subaru of America will only warranty parts installed by a CERTIFIED Subaru Dealership. The part being installed must also match the vehicle VIN. IE If you install an STi block in a WRX at your friends shop, do not expect a warranty claim to come through if it explodes! Please use your best judgement.
The smaller OEM non-TR/tS dust shields are too small for larger rotors to clear. Most people just remove them, but if you are doing an TR/tS knuckle swap, these are cheap and easy to install.
