Installation

The Subaru OEM Upper Radiator Hose is a direct bolt-on (clamp-on) replacement that requires no cutting, splicing, or modification. Allow the engine to cool completely before beginning work. Drain the coolant, loosen the existing hose clamps, remove the old hose, and slide the new OEM hose into position. Reinstall clamps, refill with the appropriate Subaru-approved coolant, and check for leaks. Basic mechanical experience and standard hand tools are sufficient for this repair; however, professional installation is always recommended if you are unfamiliar with cooling system service.
