Installation

This upper radiator hose is a direct bolt-on (clamp-on) replacement requiring no modification. Allow the engine to cool completely before beginning any cooling system work. Drain coolant to a safe level, remove the OEM clamps, swap in the new hose, re-secure the clamps, refill with the correct Subaru-approved coolant mixture, and check for leaks after bringing the engine up to operating temperature. Professional installation is recommended if you are unfamiliar with cooling system service.
