Install was a pain but I didn't have enough tools for this (pin punch set). Otherwise in the end when everything was installed it was so worth it. The shifting went from having 3 inch slop to about (0.5 inch) very direct almost gate-like shifting of the earlier Ferraries. Yes there is a lot more transmission noise and feedback in the shifter but it was worth it. Car this was installed is a 2012 Subaru WRX Hatch.
My oem linkage had nothing left in it and was super sloppy, this took all the play out.
I purchased this product online and ended up going right to the store where I was met with a friendly staff who know exactly what I ordered and where it was , couldnt be happier with the parts and the install went smoothly everything went together as it should and ive been enjoying the tight shifts since. Wondered why I didn't purchase this before. Install was fairly easy, I didn't remove the transmission, just removed the roll pin holding the U joint in with a punch and installed it back the same way. NOTE: the U joint has 2 different sizes, so before torquing make sure you got the proper side in. I was concerned about noise since it's solid but it's not as bad as some people have said it is. Love the mod, the slop is virtually gone and the shifts feel nice and crispy.

Listen, these are a must have if you do the Kartboy shifter bushing! I wouldn't even bother if you don't get these. Yes, they're a PIA however, holy cow do they change the game of your 5 speed shifter. It adds so much heft to the feel of each shift. 10/10 recommend
