I purchased this product online and ended up going right to the store where I was met with a friendly staff who know exactly what I ordered and where it was , couldnt be happier with the parts and the install went smoothly everything went together as it should and ive been enjoying the tight shifts since. I will definitely be back for more parts. Enjoy the photos of the old parts I took out to replace it with the solid u-joint.

Wondered why I didn't purchase this before. Install was fairly easy, I didn't remove the transmission, just removed the roll pin holding the U joint in with a punch and installed it back the same way. NOTE: the U joint has 2 different sizes, so before torquing make sure you got the proper side in. I was concerned about noise since it's solid but it's not as bad as some people have said it is. Love the mod, the slop is virtually gone and the shifts feel nice and crispy.

Listen, these are a must have if you do the Kartboy shifter bushing! I wouldn't even bother if you don't get these. Yes, they're a PIA however, holy cow do they change the game of your 5 speed shifter. It adds so much heft to the feel of each shift. 10/10 recommend

Haven’t installed it yet, but the quality looks very good, nice and sturdy

It no longer feels as if I am stirring cake batter when I shift. This u-joint is miles ahead in build quality compared to OEM. Would buy again, but from the looks of it, this will outlive the life of my car itself.

While this is advertised for 05+, I got it onto my 04 WRX with some grinding. It's way tighter than the 200k mile joint I had with the bushings disintegrated but it still has some play (all other bushings were replaced with it so I can't isolate it). I'd say it's slightly better than my friend's car with a recently-replaced stock joint .

exactly what I needed...the u-joint i had broke so I wasn't able to get the car in gear and was very sloppy prior to installing this...its night and day difference...adds a more solid feel to the shifter and you can tell
