Torque Solution Thermal Turbo Blankets are highly effective at protecting components around your turbo by effectively blocking the heat produced by the hot back housing. Our blankets are made of protective wire mesh, insulated fiberglass layers, and an external silicone/Fiberglass layer. The Subaru blanket fits all OEM Subaru turbos, as well most small frame externally gated turbos.

Not the best quality

When I received my turbo blanket, one of the silver spring attach points was just dangling in the bag that it had came in. I tried to re-attach it but it wasnt possible as the material kept fraying. I installed it anyways with some mechanics wire, and a missing attach point. To say the least, it did not fit the best and it is not the best quality.

Okay I suppose?

Bought this for my 03 WRX and... was not fun installing this with the included spring attachments; actually not even possible in my opinion nor realistic. Reached for some mechanics wire and installed them that way. Aside from that, it shed fiberglass all over my engine bay and turbo trying to install. Sort of wish I went for a higher quality blanket but this seems to be fine for the time being.
