Not happy
At first I felt the shift plate was going to be awesome. Super easy install, and crazy short shifts, much shorter than a short throw shifter.
After a couple weeks of driving, I noticed the rubber cover on the shift linkage was rubbing against the area it was moved towards which would eventually wear through.
My biggest complaint is sport shifting. Upon doing so I would feel a "bounce" between lower gears, and if I shift TOO quick it would even grind some. I even made sure it wasn't my error in shifting by paying close attention to timing my shifts and pressing the clutch. It appeared to only happen during higher rpm and quick shifting down low.
Also, if giving this a try anyways, i HIGHLY recommend a lighter weight, because the factory is way to heavy. Thinking this may be the issue, i removed the weight and it DID shift so much easier, but still same issue between low gears. I have since removed this plate and just running my short throw shifter and it feels great, MUCH better without this plate. Was a waste of money for me
