Features:

The Verus Engineering High-Performance Radiator increases cooling capacity well past the OEM unit and features an overall reduction in thickness of the radiator and fan shroud package. The radiator utilizes high-performance SPAL fans which ensure plenty of airflow vs. low profile fans.

This core was designed by PWR specifically for motorsport use and continues to be used in various racing series including F1, IndyCar, NASCAR, Tudor World Series, and Trophy Trucks to name a few.

The core is extremely efficient and rejects heat very well. By having a thin overall structure, more airflow passes through the radiator, which increases cooling for all of the components in the cooling stack including the radiator itself.

What’s with the fans?

The fans are installed directly onto the radiator surface itself. This serves various functions:

  • Reduced overall thickness for better install clearance
  • Increases cooling at speeds. A fan shroud, while great at improving flow through the radiator at speeds under ~20-30MPH, it actually hinders flow at higher speeds, causing both an increase in vehicle drag and reduced performance from blocking flow.
  • These fans can also be removed to reduce weight on the spot. Two nuts and the whole fan assembly can be pulled off. The fans are two individual assemblies and can be removed without removing the hood latch support.
  • High-performance fans are able to flow more air through thicker cooling stacks, whereas low-profile fans are not as efficient.
