The Verus Engineering Hood Scoop Block-Off was developd to improve the aerodynamics and cooling of your VB Subaru WR><. By blocking off the scoop, the engine bay reduces under-hood pressure as it is no longer being force fed high-pressure airflow.

This under hood pressure causes lift as well as decreases airflow through the cooling stack such as a front mount intercooler and radiator, hurting cooling efficiency.

This kit is great for owners looking to improve the performance of their WRX after removing the factory or aftermarket top mount intercoolers and going to a large front mount intercooler or charge cooler.

Verus Block off

After installing my ETS ultimate fmic I noticed higher oil and coolant temps from the radiator being blocked. After installing the Verus block off it definitely helped with promoting airflow through the front of the car and lowering temps. Instal was super easy and fit great

VB HOOD SCOOP-BLOCK OFF

Easy to install. Excellent fit and finish. Dropped my cruise control oil temps a couple of degrees. They went up after installing a FMIC.

Verus Engineering 22+ Wrx block off plate

I recently installed Cobbs fmic and the oem hood scoop became useless. The Verus block off plate improves cooling and reduces under hood pressure. It fits perfectly and looks great
