The Verus Engineering sway bar heat shield was designed to reflect exhaust heat from the sway bar bushing which has shown to degrade over time, especially with aftermarket exhausts and track time.
Due to the location and proximity to the hot exhaust header, the factory and aftermarket bushings cannot stand up to track days and exhaust heat and will melt and degrade over time. This can lead to excessive sway bar movement and noise.
Utilizing our unit, made from 304 stainless sheet and heat-reflective gold foil, our unit will reduce heat to these components and help protect the sway bar bushing.
