Easy to install, looks incredible, noticeably more efficient cooling. With my front mounted intercooler I also have measurably less heat saturation, worth while investment.
The quality of this radiator is amazing, perfect welds and nice satin finish. The radiator fins didn’t come to badly dinged *almost impossible * installed easily with some minor modifications to my WRX. If you’re running a front mount intercool you might have to cut one of the legs off the radiator fans for a flush fit as it interferes with the intercooler piping.
As for performance on a 120 degree day my coolant temps sit at a solid 210-215 degrees depending on how much beans I give the car. As for Oil temps they sat around 230-240. Might have to get an oil cooler.
Bear in mind I live in Arizona and it gets HOOOOTT. I’m impressed it’s able to keep the car consistently cool during these hot summer days. Highly recommend if you’re modded and need to control your coolant temps.
I installed this radiator on my 2017 WRX. Oil temps have reduced by ~10 degrees. It also looks great!
Been very reliable for the passed few weeks. Build quality is amazing and the welds are solid. Has kept the temps of my 2014 WRX at a consistent 185 degrees, even while driving during the summer in the south. I’d argue the best aluminum radiator you can get for a subie. 100% recommend.
Best cooling investment i made so far on my ride. Installation was really easy and the koyorad kit included a few different fittings for your expansion tank so it was that the radiator had everything. I saw noticeable temp drops driving 50 mph and above. I saw coolant temp drop 5 to even 10 degrees in 100 + degree ambient temps.
The stock radiator gets very brittle after 50, 000 miles. KoyoRad seems well built. Grab one and avoid being stranded. I had to adjust the Chargepipe to fit the fan because of the larger radiator core.
Quite a bit better than the stock unit.
Fits well and easy to install.
Tight fit with the GS charge pipe, but a great radiator!
