The TurboXS Front Mount Intercooler Kit might be the single best modification you can do to your 2015-2021 WRX. One of the biggest keys to making consistent power in a 15-21 WRX is managing the intake manifold temperature. This is an issue when the WRX is bone stock and becomes an even bigger issue when you start to modify it. The stock top mount intercooler simply isn’t up to the task. After just a few minutes of hard driving, the small, overworked TMIC quickly becomes heat soaked. Intake manifold temperatures rise quickly and power output drops off even more quickly. The power drop is not just due to the hotter, less dense air coming out of the intercooler but also because the WRX ECU logic will actually start to reduce ignition timing as intake manifold temperatures climb. Reduced ignition time directly reduced power output. You could replace the stock TMIC with an well-designed aftermarket TMIC. While they are certainly much better than the stock TMIC, our testing shows that even they can only delay the inevitable intake manifold temperature increase that comes from having a small intercooler core sitting inside a hot engine bay.
Enter the TurboXS Front Mount Intercooler. The bar and plate core is 28 inches wide, 8 inches tall, and 3.75 inches thick and absolutely dwarfs the factory TMIC with over 80% more frontal area, 172% more volume, and a massive 225% more thermal mass. With our FMIC installed on our 2015 WRX, intake manifold temperatures stay constant even after repeated pulls to redline. With the TurboXS Front Mount Intercooler, inconsistent power output due to sky-high intake manifold temperatures is a thing of the past!
Definitely a longer install, but the results are great. Car not only looks better, but the performance is greatly improved.
Really great quality front mount . Some fitment issues when putting the bumper back on . Had to trip some plastic out . Very minor . Overall great quality. Had some issues with the order but over import image did a fantastic Job getting that handled immediately. Thank you guys !!!

Ok first off not product related but the shipping was lightning fast!
On to the meat and potatoes.
This kit has Amazing quality, Fitment, and Aesthetically pleasing.
I installed this alone in my driveway with no jack or jack stands. That being said there was bouts of cursing and bleeding knuckles. Some areas are hard to get at without having the car in the air. Now warning there are NO installation instructions included. That being said it is pretty straight forward. If you get hung up there are multiple YouTube videos to reference. The product came very well packaged, everything was bubble wrapped and foam wrapped for protection.
Overall I am very pleased with this kit and look forward to seeing my intake temps this summer.
***Also I will note I had to trim the plastic on the Lower radiator support. Unlike previously stated by others if you trim the plastic right you don’t have to beat any of the metal support in.***

Great product, easy install. Had to cut a little bit of the fog light bezels to let the piping fit but other than it it fit perfectly. Car makes 335whp and 345tq on 93.
Overall, this is a nice product and for the money you cannot get a better kit. The crash beam is nice, but the bolts provided were not long enough on the top 2 holes. In addition to banging my radiator support flange I had to cut my bumper to fit the pipe on the driver side- Nothing that is seen once the bumper is mounted but annoying none the less. I didn't really like having to permanently hammer the front end of the car. Last little issue was the lack of clear instructions for some steps. TurboXS has an install video but its missing several items. The inlet and BPV hose hook up was not very clear but if you stop and learn how it all works it become apparent how it all hooks up.
Those are all small gripes and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great FMIC.

I’ve had this front mount for a little over 30 days and I love it more and more daily. The install wasn’t too bad difficulty wise, it just took a while to get every thing apart, installed, & back together. It looks awesome and performs so much better then the pewney top mount the 2015 WRX comes with. I have a Boomba 100% rescurclative BPV and it sounds SWEET on this front mount.
Helped me get the backordered part ASAP. Love the intercooler as well!
