Constructed from 6061 aluminum with TIG-welded seams, the tank provides increased durability compared with the factory plastic reservoir. Its combined design saves space while giving the engine bay a cleaner, motorsport-inspired appearance.
This is a cool product however it doesn’t function properly the coolant nipped is to high for proper bleeding of coolant system. With that the windshield washer tank is great although I did modify it to hold 2 pumps for my front ant rear window as I have a wagon this would be a nice option in the future. It does look great though
I had to modify the mounting bracket (slotting the bolt holes) because no matter what I did to reposition it, it was always shoving on my fuse box. The bracket was also at a very weird angle, so I ended up having to bend it to fit. Also, the O-ring on the washer reservoir cap is unnecessary and will kill your pump as it just pulls a vacuum and causes the pump to cavitate (you can hear it make terrible noises and stop pumping). I recommend just pulling the o-ring off the cap. I'm not using the coolant overflow part, as I foresee issues with it being mounted at the same height as the turbo coolant expansion tank.
The Weapon R hybrid tank is awesome! I would recommend including a wiper resevoir pump with grommet for a one stop shopping experience.
