Whiteline Positive Shift Kit Subaru WRX 08-25 / STI 08-21 / Forester XT 09-13 | KDT901

I didn’t know what I should expect but everyone online loves these and I wanted something to do. Really cleans up the slop from 1st and 2nd gear. Making the timing between shifts faster.

I also did the transmission mount too but it did create some new noises (I was aware it would) not terrible but does have a slight wine at cruising speeds. Easy to block out and I’m sure I’ll forget about it in a few weeks but it feels significantly better.

Install was a 4/10 difficulty. Made a big difference in how planted the car feels with a bit of added gear whine and engine noise. Would recommend if you want a stiffer ride and also if you plan to tune and add power, as it’ll get rid of the rubbery feel

Fantastic modification. Shifting is smoother and tighter. No more jerkiness on irregular payment. Torque is driven down to the awd system and you can feel the car has more bite.

Easy install; perfect fit. Would have been nice to have the torque specs included; however, easy enough to find on the web.

These are way stiffer than the flimsy oem bushings. Really tightens up the shifts!

An easy upgrade to include while you’re down there swapping out other parts in the area. Being that I installed this with a lot of other mods, I cannot say for its individual performance, however, overall all of the upgrades have resulted in snappier power to wheels after getting the car and gear, This has surely aided in Getting to that result. Be sure to torque your nuts!

Finally got around to doing the group n mount transmission

Mount under the cradle! Removed the bushings, those abused @100,000 miles rubber OEM “yuck” things! Replaced them with the Whiteline PSK and accompanied with the new Bilstein B16 suspension kit, and shifter bushings, with the superpro swaybar, with racerx endlinks!

It almost feels like a completely different car that still came from Subaru. You will not be disappointed if you just do this mod, the transfer of power, less jerk, more connection than an average relationship if you ask me!

Just do it!

A must when switching out the OEM transmission mount as this is part of the transmission brace that is taken off.
