TurboXS Standard Rear Axleback Exhaust Subaru WRX 2002-2007 / STI 2004-2007 | WS02-RMA

I wanted something a bit louder than stock exhaust, so I went with the TurboXS axleback exhaust. IMR had the best price around the time of the purchase, and trust me when it comes to price I will search for days to get the best deal. It's a great axleback, not too loud and obnoxious, and no drone on the highway. I would recommend this exhaust for anyone that wants something a bit louder than stock, and not too loud, great for daily driving, no highway drone as previously stated. The exhaust is 3" stainless steel and will not rust, just clean and polish to keep it clean. I give this exhaust 5 stars out of 5.

This axle-back looks great and the hangers slid right in no problem with sprqy lube on a 2005 WRX wagon. The only problem I had was the instructions are non-existent even on turboxs website. They do not tell you what bolt holes and bolts to use if installing on a stock midpipe. I found a YouTube video that explains it. I went out and bought high temp Permatex but realized there was a gasket there the whole time I couldn't see. If anybody buys this is and installs it just reuse the old gasket or buy a new one. I don't think the permatex was needed

This was on backorder until February at all the places selling for less than retail price, but these guys had one in stock for me, and it was sent out quickly and it installed perfectly using the stock hangers. It sounds great too!

I received my Turbo XS on time and as others said it was very well packaged. It is very nice, fully polished and seems very well built. I installed it on a stock 06 Impreza 2.5I ( Axle back) and it fit perfect. I like that it can be installed on the stock mid-pipe or a 3" mid-pipe. Mine is on a stock mid-pipe. Although it is a little loud for me, others said it sounds great.

I received the axleback on time and it was packaged nicely, no issues there. Would have given it 5 stars, but the only issue is that it's the Version 2 Turbo XS axleback, which was not advertised on the site. The axleback I received does not have the TurboXS stamp on the bottom of the muffler. It actually doesn't have any logo that identifies it as a Turbo XS exhaust. After doing some research, I realized it's the Version 2 which has better welds according to TurboXS, but I'm still not 100% certain that it actually is a TurboXS exhaust. I installed it just to see how it sounds and, overall the exhaust has a nice deep low-toned rumble to it and it looks awesome on my Subey OBS Wagon! So I kept it!
