The TurboXS WRX STI Standard Rear Muffler Assembly is the epitome of subdued looks but performance sound. It's a full 3 inch straight through design so this muffler can support well over 500whp while still offering a "low key" look and sound for the typical street 300-400whp enthusiast. To compliment your rear bumper fascia, the muffler features a 3.5 inch double walled tip that looks phenomenal.

You can fit this rear muffler section to either a stock midpipe if you just want a noise and small performance increase or you can connect it to one of our midpipe to make a full 3" catback exhaust system.

NOTE: This part is designed to work with either an OEM midpipe OR a TurboXS midpipe only!

Great fitment, great sound but No info

This axle-back looks great and the hangers slid right in no problem with sprqy lube on a 2005 WRX wagon. The only problem I had was the instructions are non-existent even on turboxs website. They do not tell you what bolt holes and bolts to use if installing on a stock midpipe. I found a YouTube video that explains it. I went out and bought high temp Permatex but realized there was a gasket there the whole time I couldn't see. If anybody buys this is and installs it just reuse the old gasket or buy a new one. I don't think the permatex was needed

Great seller and product

This was on backorder until February at all the places selling for less than retail price, but these guys had one in stock for me, and it was sent out quickly and it installed perfectly using the stock hangers. It sounds great too!

Very nice

I received my Turbo XS on time and as others said it was very well packaged. It is very nice, fully polished and seems very well built. I installed it on a stock 06 Impreza 2.5I ( Axle back) and it fit perfect. I like that it can be installed on the stock mid-pipe or a 3" mid-pipe. Mine is on a stock mid-pipe. Although it is a little loud for me, others said it sounds great.
