Shop tuning and engine management parts for the Subaru WRX STI 2015-2021 (VA chassis). The VA STI's EJ257 2.5-litre turbocharged flat-four made 305 hp in standard form for 2015-2018 and 310 hp for 2019-2021, and Subaru's Type RA and S209 editions show how much of their gain came from intake, exhaust and ECU retuning. You will find engine management, ECU tuning and programmers here — every part in this collection is fitment-tagged for the Subaru WRX STI 2015-2021 (VA chassis), so check your year and edition against the product fitment notes before ordering.
What tuning and engine management parts fit my Subaru WRX STI 2015-2021 (VA chassis)?
Every tuning part in this collection is fitment-tagged for the VA-chassis WRX STI (2015-2021) and its EJ257 engine. Factory calibrations differ by year and edition — standard output, Type RA and S209 are all different starting points — so confirm your year and edition on the product page before ordering.
Where did the Type RA and S209 power gains come from?
Largely from calibration working with hardware: standard power rose from 305 hp (2015-2018) to 310 hp (2019-2021), and the Type RA and S209 show how much of their gain came from intake, exhaust and ECU retuning together. Plan tuning as part of the parts package, not an afterthought.
