Overview  

The GrimmSpeed Clear Coat is a premium acrylic enamel clear coat designed to add a layer of protection and a high-gloss finish to your painting projects. This clear is specifically formulated to work with GrimmSpeed's color matching paints, but will work very well with most others. The adjustable fanspray pattern makes the application smooth and easy, regardless of what you're painting.

  • Sold individually

Note: Two (2) 12oz cans of GrimmSpeed Clear Coat are required to coat the faces of 4 wheels. If you want to coat the inside drums and outside fully, we suggest purchasing 3-4 cans.

One (1) 12oz can of GrimmSpeed Clear Coat will thoroughly coat a factory hood scoop, for example. For larger paint jobs such as side skirts, we suggest purchasing 2-3 cans or more depending on your preferred number of coats.

It is recommended to wait 3-4 days after a paint job is fully cured before applying the clear coat.

Please follow the directions on your color and clear cans very carefully to ensure a smooth, uniform and durable finish.

good quality paint

not sure if i am as blown away by the clear coat as the regular colors, but i dont have any complaints either. it seems fine, but if i were to do it again i really dont know if its worth the extra $ for the clear or not.

Good Quality Spray

Just like the rest of the Grimmspeed cans, it is high quality and easy to apply. So far used to coat Hella Horn covers after spraying their CB Red as well as other painted parts for extra protection.
