The Clutch Masters FX300 Clutch Kit is designed for high-performance street vehicles that require increased torque capacity while maintaining smooth engagement and long service life. Utilizing Clutch Masters’ Power Plus I heavy-duty pressure plate combined with a segmented Kevlar friction disc, the FX300 provides a significant increase in holding power while preserving excellent drivability for everyday use.

The steel-backed segmented Kevlar disc increases surface pressure on the flywheel, allowing the clutch to handle more torque without sacrificing durability. Kevlar friction material is known for its long wear characteristics and non-abrasive properties, helping prevent excessive scoring of the flywheel and pressure plate surfaces.

Compared to stock clutch assemblies, the FX300 offers approximately 110% increased holding capacity, making it ideal for modified naturally aspirated engines with upgraded cams or forced-induction setups running moderate boost levels. Despite the performance increase, pedal effort remains only slightly higher than factory, maintaining comfortable daily drivability.

This clutch system is intended primarily for performance street vehicles, offering smooth engagement, strong torque capacity, and extended clutch life when properly installed and properly broken in.
