Buy it. Seriously you will THANK yourself. Install is a bit tedious, but worth it. This paird with a heavy shift knob makes shifting feel more notchy. 10/10
So the setup can get … frustrating, even though it seems soooo easy! In the end (meaning about 35 min later) I ended up doing something completely different - loosen up and spread both top and bottom, like really loose - go 5th slide OEM stop to it (make sure it’s the 5th!) tap over just a bit - slide straight down to 6th + tap - gently go to neutral then gently slide into 1st move the stop to it + tap and gently slide down to 2nd + tap - go into N - gently tighten top then bottom - go back to top and really tighten down top + bottom and test. The f-it method took less than 2 min and it actually worked - either way test, test , and test before buttoning up - accidentally discovering reverse instead of 5th sucks and/or having tight 5th and 6th is cool and nice… until you need to back out of a parking spot. No graceful way to get out and push out WRX from parking spot my friend, none whatsoever.
