The Cobb Stage 1 Drive Train Package has changed my life in many meaningful ways. It is taught me to be patient and that good things take time and effort. Installing this was harder than I was expecting, due to some tricky to reach areas with my big orangutan hands. However with a little bit of effort (and the right tools for the job) I was able to get it finished. I won't be the first to tell you that the Subaru WRX manual transmission leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to “that shift feeling." Before the shift package, shifting was sloppy, clunky, and rubbery. With this installed, I might actually stand a chance against that Honda Odyssey in a 0 to 60 at a stoplight. Well, probably not. Furthermore, this shift package and the all new weighted Cobb Knob has made me not only more confident in my shifts, but in life itself. Shortly after installing this, my fiancee loves me more, I've lost 10 lb, and everyone thinks 15% cooler. Oh yeah, and shifts are 15% shorter! Honestly, if you're on the fence about buying this because of the price, allow me to push you over cause this is well worth the money and the effort to install. The difference is night and day, black and white, new Porsche Cayenne vs GT2 RS. You wanna be a hero? Buy this and get a taste, you won't be dissatisfied.

The product is fantastic. It feels like I have a whole new car. The shifts are smooth with no slop and are very short compared to the long stock throw. I chose the 35% reduction. However the install says it only takes an hour or two, however with a mechanics help, this took 8 hours in total. The shift stop took 5 minutes, the shifter cable bushing about an hour, and the shift plate took a solid 7 hours, 6 dealing with the pin that holds it in.
